Limits
The limits of HF Tunnel: tunnel names, reserved names, tunnels per account, free links per computer, ports and certificates.
HF Tunnel's limits protect the server and the names of its own services. Administrators can change the numbers in Server Admin › Hosting › Tunnels.
Names
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Characters | lowercase letters, numbers and -, not at the start or end |
| Length | 1–32 characters |
| Unique | a name is used once on the server, across customers' tunnels and desktop links |
| Not a website | a name that would match one of the server's own addresses or a hosted website is refused |
Some names are reserved and can't be used, for example www, mail, webmail, panel, admin, files, studio,
db, api, ftp, ssh, smtp, imap, login, account, billing, support, docs and status, numbered
forms such as ns1 or mail2, and any name that contains the product's own names. The error says … is reserved —
pick another name.
