HF PanelTop sites by traffic
The busiest websites of the server by visitors, page views, requests or bandwidth, from the visitor statistics.
Top sites by traffic lists the 50 busiest websites over a period, from the visitor statistics counted every hour from the access logs. Administrators see every website; resellers see their customers' websites.
Where: Server Admin › Accounts › Top sites by traffic (Reseller Panel: the same place)
- Choose the period: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or Last 12 months.
- Choose the order in Sort by: Visitors, Page views, Requests or Bandwidth.
The totals at the top add up the websites in the table.
Who is counted
Websites of accounts whose package has the Visitor statistics feature (Server Admin › Accounts ›
Feature lists) are read every hour by hf-api visitor-stats (in
/etc/cron.d/hostfog). Switch the feature off in a list and those accounts' logs are no longer read; the figures
already counted stay.

No visitor address is stored. Countries come from the country list imported on Site firewall rules; without it they show as unknown.
Note: each run reads at most 512 MB of new log per website; a bigger backlog is read over the next hours, and the customer sees a note meanwhile. Logs are read as the account, never as root.
