Log in as

Open one of your customers' Control Panels without their password, and return to the Reseller Panel when done.

Log in as opens one of your customers' Control Panels without their password, so you can help them or set things up for them. You see exactly what the customer sees. When you are done, Return to reseller takes you back.

Where: Reseller Panel › Accounts › Accounts › Log in (also on Users online)

Note: this needs the Use Log in as privilege. You can open only your own customers' accounts.

Open a customer's Control Panel

  1. On Accounts, click Log in next to the account.

The customer's Control Panel opens at its overview. When the server has separate panel addresses, it opens on the Control Panel's own address. A bar at the top says You're in sarahbakes's control panel as your username.

Every change you make is written in the customer's Activity log as made by support.

While you are logged in as a customer

  • You can change the customer's password and contact email without their current password.
  • Two-factor login, passkeys and API tokens stay with the customer: only they can change them.
  • Editing DNS zones needs the Edit the DNS of their accounts privilege, and visitor statistics need See bandwidth.
  • Some risky actions, such as restoring a whole backup, may need an administrator's approval first.

Return to the Reseller Panel

Click Return to reseller in the bar at the top, or Back to your username at the bottom of the menu. You are back on your Accounts screen, signed in as yourself.
